Department: Shipping

Summary: Accurately assemble, package, and ship quality products according to engineer's print's directions and shop order's requests. Follows policies and procedures put in place as well as any modifications while always being aware to preserving the product's integrity and quality.


Primary Duties:

• Find, print and understand shop orders, customer orders and engineers drawings
• To use a hoist or crane and know the correct procedures to operate the hoist
• Able and willing to work customer service
• Retrieve orders, collect product and package orders
• Complete customer orders to ship product by the shipping date
• To mentor and train other employees
• Able to locate on hand quantities to complete products
• Able to read and use measuring tools accurately
• Complete jobs on a timely and consistent basis
• To load and secure products on trucks as needed
• To work as a team and be self motivated to work independently
• To actively be looking for new and improved ways to do things
• Meet reasonable production goals

• Willingness and ability to learn and perform other jobs
• Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and push/pull 100 pounds occasionally
