Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health, gathering relevant history and identifying presenting issues.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring they reflect their unique goals and challenges.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions across a broad spectrum of mental health topics, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

• Offer couples therapy that enhances communication and problem-solving skills, aiding partners in navigating conflicts effectively.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities to drive the engagement, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of the therapeutic process.

• Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation of all client interactions, including progress notes and treatment adjustments, compliant with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to provide integrated care for clients.

• Deliver crisis intervention and emergency support when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in distress.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements in marriage and family therapy, continually enhancing your skillset and therapeutic techniques.

• Participate in regular professional development opportunities to support your growth and effectiveness as a clinician.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Retreat Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse client population that includes adolescents, adults, and families. Your therapeutic expertise will guide clients through various challenges such as relationship struggles, mental health issues, and personal crises. By fostering a strong therapeutic alliance, you will help clients build resilience and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Massachusetts.
\n
• Demonstrated experience providing individual and/or couples therapy, with a focus on evidence-based practices.

• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop actionable treatment plans.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
