Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments that are age and culturally appropriate to evaluate students' mental health, substance use, and medical needs within the school setting.

• Provide tangible behavioral health services, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and referrals for additional services such as substance abuse treatment.
\n
• Document and track progress notes and treatment plans in compliance with electronic health record protocols, ensuring timely updates and accurate information that supports ongoing mental health care.

• Engage in crisis intervention, offering immediate support and resources to students experiencing acute mental health challenges, and escalate care as necessary.
\n
• Act as a liaison between schools, families, and community resources, facilitating referrals to local support services, including medication management programs.
\n
• Collaborate with quality improvement teams to enhance data collection processes, thereby contributing to the continuous enhancement of services provided.

You will primarily focus on students from various backgrounds, including those facing academic pressures, emotional difficulties, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active and unrestricted License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
