Work Environment\n

This is a full-time remote position, particularly advantageous during the ongoing integration of technology in education. As a member of our support team, you will have the flexibility to work from home while being fully integrated into the school community. You will still have opportunities to engage directly with students and colleagues, especially through scheduled meetings and occasional evening and weekend events, such as parent meetings and school events, all in alignment with the school calendar.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify and analyze the emotional, social, and behavioral challenges faced by students.

• Utilize various methods such as observations, standardized interviews, and assessments to evaluate students’ mental health needs effectively.

• Provide both individual and group counseling sessions tailored to address critical issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic approaches during short-term and ongoing individual counseling to support students in overcoming their challenges.
\n
• Facilitate group counseling sessions on vital topics such as bullying intervention, stress management, and the development of essential social skills.

• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement effective interventions for behavioral concerns.

• Assist students in transition planning and facilitate referrals to valuable community resources that support their growth and well-being.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning as warranted by student circumstances.

• Organize and lead psychoeducation workshops for students, parents, and staff to promote mental wellness and awareness.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
