Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility for our dedicated LCSWs to work from their preferred location while collaborating effectively with the school team and families. As part of a professional behavioral health team, you will leverage telehealth technologies to conduct assessments and provide support, making innovative use of digital platforms to enhance the outreach and effectiveness of our services.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of infants and toddlers to determine developmental needs and eligibility for early intervention services.
\n
• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring each plan is tailored to the child’s unique needs.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate outcomes as a collaborative team member, adapting strategies to meet the changing needs of children and families.
\n
• Establish trusting relationships with children and their families, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment that enhances the learning and development process.
\n
• Provide parents and caregivers with valuable information, practical skills, and emotional support to empower them in promoting their child's growth.
\n
• Apply the coaching model and Natural Learning Environment Practices to effectively deliver services in natural settings.
\n
• Complete necessary documentation in compliance with all Federal and State regulations and health and safety standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this position is primarily on infants and toddlers who are experiencing developmental delays or have disabilities. You will work closely with families, providing guidance and interventions that promote physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills as part of a holistic developmental approach. Understanding the dynamics of family interactions and the impact of environment on child development is essential in this role.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current LCSW licensure from the Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver's license is required for local travel when necessary.

• Demonstrated experience working with children in early intervention settings for at least one year.

• Ability to adapt interventions to address various learning styles and developmental needs.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
