Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, identifying their specific mental health needs.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on the psychosocial assessment, addressing both immediate concerns and long-term goals.

• Execute appropriate clinical interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices, tailored to the client’s needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation reflecting client progress, treatment plans, and interdisciplinary care strategies during team meetings or patient rounds.

• Provide case management services, collaborating with external community resources to ensure comprehensive care for clients and addressing any barriers they may face.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed about best practices in mental health treatment and integrate new knowledge into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at Inner Fire Wellness Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families addressing various mental health challenges. Our clientele may experience issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. The role is integral in empowering clients to develop coping strategies and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) , or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, demonstrating proficiency in individual and group therapy.

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. Advanced degrees are preferred.

• Willingness to provide therapy sessions ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week, depending on your availability and caseload.

Compensation and Benefits\n
