Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (RN)We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document observations accurately.Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.Participate in patient and family education regarding health issues and treatment plans.Float to various areas within the department as needed.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department, with acute care and some pediatric experience.Current Registered Nurse license in New York and any other active RN licenses.Certificates required: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (with TNCC certification in hand).Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.Local candidates preferred (within 75 miles).Unit DetailsNumber of beds: 64, including 40 acute, 2 Trauma, and 6 psych.Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.Specialty equipment utilized: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun.Patient demographics range from newborns to geriatrics.If you are passionate about emergency medicine and meet the qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this dynamic opportunity in our Emergency Department.Client Details City Utica State NY
