Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Utica, NY, starting 10/18/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,328 to $2,380 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shifts rotate on 12-hour blocks.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, along with newborn care and GYN patients as assigned.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications per physician orders, assist during labor and delivery including cesarean sections, and document care accordingly.
- Collaborate with the obstetric team, neonatal staff, and ancillary services to ensure safe, timely delivery and postpartum recovery.
- Operate and troubleshoot unit equipment and OB-related technologies (OBIX-linked systems interfacing with Stork), and participate in patient and family education.
- Float to related units as needed; respond to emergencies such as hemorrhage or fetal distress; maintain patient safety and infection control standards.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license; Nursys license verification; must hold current NY license and be eligible to practice.
- Certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, and NRP required.
- Experience: 4–5 years of obstetric and newborn care experience; travel staffing experience preferred.
- EMR: Proficiency with EPIC/Stork systems.
- Flexibility: Must be open to working both day and night shifts; floating to other units as needed.
- Other: Local candidates eligible for local rate (within 75 miles); RTO (time off) must be included at submission.
