Work Environment\n

Our remote practice allows mental health professionals to reach patients where they feel most comfortable, making therapy accessible and effective. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique experiences, challenges, and aspirations.

• Create personalized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect and respond to the individual’s cultural and personal backgrounds.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing diverse therapeutic modalities to address and support various mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver coordinated and expansive patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support when mental health emergencies arise, ensuring safety and stabilization for affected individuals.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure compliance and accessibility.

• Actively participate in professional development, case conferences, and cultural competency training sessions to enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge base.

This role allows you to engage and support patients navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues, with an emphasis on fostering resilience and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic interventions, and cultural competence, with practical experience applying these in clinical settings.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy, employing inclusive and responsive therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention abilities, with a calm demeanor and effective problem-solving skills during high-pressure situations.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building rapport with patients from varied demographics.

• Proficiency in using EHR systems and other technological tools relevant to mental health documentation and patient management.

• Commitment to ethical practice, professional development, and maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n
