Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients across all ESI levels within the Emergency Room setting.
• Manage an average ratio of 4-5 patients, particularly ESI level 3 patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient triage and assessments with efficiency.
• Administer emergency care procedures including stroke, STEMI, trauma, and sepsis interventions.
• Assist in procedures such as art line, central line, and chest tube placements.
• Complete EMTALA regulatory documentation ensuring compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 2+ years of Emergency Department experience.
• Minimum of 1+ year of travel nursing experience preferred.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are mandatory.
• Proficiency in PIV, NG/OG tubes, foleys, splinting, and wound care required.
• Experience as a preceptor or willingness to assist with precepting required.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
