Job Summary: Supports daily HR operations in Manufacturing environment, acting as a trusted advisor to management and employees alike. The ideal candidate blends excellent interpersonal skills with a deep understanding of HR compliance and best practices.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition – 50% of role will be talent acquisition for entire organization.Sourcing: Develop innovative sourcing strategies using job boards (e.g., Indeed), social media, and professional networks to build a diverse talent pipeline.Screening: Review applications, conduct initial phone screens, and coordinate in-depth interviews with hiring managers.Candidate Experience: Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and engaging interview process.Offers: Prepare and extend employment offers, negotiate terms, and oversee pre-employment screening processes.Manage recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.Onboarding - Facilitate new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding and integration process for all new employeesEmployee Relations & DevelopmentServe as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and workplace issues.Guide managers and employees through performance management cycles and disciplinary procedures.Compliance & Record Keeping - Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and strictly confidential personnel records and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) databases.Job QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: 3–5 years of progressive experience in an HR Generalist or Coordinator role preferable in a manufacturing environment.Compliance Knowledge: Working knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.Tech Savvy: Proficiency with modern HRIS platforms, MS Office Suite (specifically Excel), and applicant tracking systems (ATS).Preferred QualificationsExperience with Paycom HRIS platform]Required QualificationsBilingual (Spanish)Job CompetenciesChange Management - Develops workable implementation plans; Communicates changes effectively; Builds commitment and overcomes resistance; Prepares and supports those affected by change; Monitors transition and evaluates results.Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.Ethics - Treats people with respect; Keeps commitments; Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values.Interpersonal Skills - Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; Maintains confidentiality; Listens to others without interrupting; Keeps emotions under control; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.Physical Demand & Work Environment - Work is performed in a manufacturing office setting, with approximately 70% of the time spent working at a computer.
