Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15275

Pay: $20.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with occasional weekend scheduling as needed. Hours will be adjusted when possible to accommodate weekend coverage.

Job Overview

Join one of the nation's largest retail pharmacy organizations in a Central Fulfillment Pharmacy supporting pharmacy inventory operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate pharmacy inventory, coordinating inventory processes, supporting pharmacy ordering, and ensuring compliance with inventory procedures and regulatory requirements. The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with pharmacy leadership to keep inventory accurate, support daily pharmacy operations, and help train team members on inventory best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute pharmacy inventory management activities including receiving, counting, ordering, cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and maintaining accurate on-hand inventory.
• Process pharmacy shipments, recalls, vendor returns, damaged product returns, inventory transfers, and inventory adjustments while resolving order discrepancies and vendor issues.
• Monitor inventory reports and inventory systems to maintain accurate inventory balances, pricing, and documentation.
• Support pharmacy ordering, maintain consumable supplies, manage consigned inventory, and ensure product availability.
• Train and educate team members on inventory procedures and standard operating practices while partnering with pharmacy leadership to maintain inventory compliance.
• Prepare for physical inventories, maintain required inventory records and documentation, and ensure compliance with state regulations and company inventory policies.
• Support pharmacy asset protection activities, including filing claims related to shortages, overages, damaged merchandise, and vendor discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Pharmacy Technician experience required.
• Previous pharmacy inventory or inventory management experience preferred.
• Familiarity with pharmacy inventory systems and inventory control processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable using pharmacy software and inventory management systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a pharmacy team.
