Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of family dynamics and individual needs, utilizing evidence-based frameworks.

• Facilitating therapeutic sessions with clients using a variety of modalities tailored to client backgrounds, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and narrative therapy.

• Tracking and documenting progress notes and treatment plans in our electronic health record system to ensure continuity of care.

• Engaging families in discussions to help them understand and modify dysfunctional behaviors that impact their lives and relationships.

• Collaborating with other health professionals and possibly community organizations to coordinate resources for families in crisis.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will primarily be utilized to support families facing various challenges, including relationship issues, parenting struggles, grief, and transitions. You will serve a diverse clientele, ranging from newly married couples seeking to build healthy foundations to families coping with the effects of trauma, grief, or educational challenges with their children.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
\n
• Strong understanding of family systems theory and familiarity with the best practices in family and marriage therapy.
