Director of Business Development

Location: Las Vegas, NV Schedule: Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead growth initiatives, strengthen referral partnerships, and expand awareness of our behavioral health services. This individual will develop and execute strategic business development plans while maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, referral sources, and other key partners. The ideal candidate has proven business development or outreach experience within behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or a closely related setting . Behavioral health or comparable healthcare experience is required. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic business development and marketing plans. Identify new referral opportunities and areas for organizational growth. Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, healthcare providers, clinicians, community organizations, and referral partners. Increase appropriate patient referrals and support census-growth goals. Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and community meetings. Track referral activity, market trends, outreach efforts, and business development results. Collaborate with admissions, clinical, operations, and executive leadership. Evaluate market conditions and identify opportunities to expand services. Prepare regular reports and provide updates on performance, trends, and growth initiatives. Ensure all outreach and business development activities comply with healthcare regulations and organizational standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Behavioral Health, or a related field preferred. Business development, referral development, outreach, or marketing experience within behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or a similar industry is required. Established local healthcare or behavioral health referral relationships are strongly preferred. Previous leadership or team-management experience preferred. Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven ability to develop referral networks and meet growth objectives. Ability to analyze performance data and adjust strategies accordingly. Knowledge of behavioral health services, referral processes, and healthcare market dynamics. Must be professional, self-directed, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
