Work Environment\n

This position operates remotely, allowing you to provide therapy and support services from the comfort of your own home while connecting with clients through telehealth platforms. You will collaborate closely with our Clinical Director and Executive Director, ensuring that clients receive personalized treatment and support in a safe and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the counseling needs of each client evaluating their psychological and emotional state.
\n
• Utilize DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria to assess clients for substance abuse diagnoses and ascertain the appropriate level of care using ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) guidelines.
\n
• Prepare the substance abuse counseling component of client treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive and tailored approaches to their specific needs.
\n
• Develop and implement discharge and continuum of care plans, facilitating clients' transitions to appropriate levels of care as needed.
\n
• Document all counseling and educational interventions, including assessments, follow-ups, and referrals in compliance with organizational standards.
\n
• Maintain an organized client caseload, conducting routine case management and treatment planning duties, with an emphasis on thorough record-keeping and clinical charting.
\n
• Coordinate support services for clients and their families, ensuring that all interventions are accurately recorded in clinical documentation.
\n
• Engage with referral sources such as legal entities, schools, and employers to support client needs and advocate for comprehensive care.
\n
• Facilitate interventions for crisis-oriented situations, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide timely support for assigned clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals facing challenges related to substance use disorders, as well as those dealing with co-occurring mental health issues. You will provide individual and group therapy sessions to support each client’s unique recovery journey, fostering an environment conducive to healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Texas.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in addiction treatment and co-occurring disorders counseling.
\n
• Strong understanding of therapeutic modalities and a commitment to professional development and ethical practice.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
\n
• Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in community health settings, specifically in outpatient addiction treatment programs.
\n
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices.
\n
• Prior involvement in developing treatment plans based on comprehensive clinical assessments.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We offer an extensive benefits package which includes:
