Candlewood Suites - Louisville Fair/Expo is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facility to provide guests with a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become problematic.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed.
• Assist with inventory management of maintenance supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in maintenance or a related technical field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
