Business Analyst - PKPD (Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics)

Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst specializing in PKPD (Pharmacokinetics / Pharmacodynamics), that will be supporting one of Insight Global's large pharmaceutical clients. The Business Analyst's work is tied to a high-priority initiative focused on AI/ML, automation, and data enablement in discovery research.


Key Responsibilities:
Inventory and assess data across fragmented and siloed systems within discovery research environments
Identify where critical data resides and define requirements for enabling scalable solutions
Partner with scientific and technical stakeholders to gather and document business and system requirements
Translate business needs into IT scope, including data sourcing, integration, and preparation
Support data integration efforts and ensure datasets are suitable for AI/ML model development

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of Business Analyst experience
Pharma discovery data / scientific datasets experience
Cross functional communication across teams (stakeholder and technical teams/scientists)
Requirements gathering, documentation, and building BA artifacts
Experience identifying, inventorying, and analyzing data across multiple systems
Experience working in AI/ML-enabled environments or supporting model-ready datasets


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) / product environments
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
Background working in data integration or multi-source data environments
