Work Environment

This role is based onsite within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, allowing therapists to work closely with patients in a well-equipped and supportive environment. The center is designed to foster teamwork and collaborative patient care, with modern equipment and therapy areas that emphasize comfort and functionality. Our standard operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a consistent schedule conducive to work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapy Specialist, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and customize therapy plans.
• Deliver one-on-one patient sessions, efficiently managing a caseload of one patient per hour.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques and modalities aimed at improving patient mobility and reducing pain.
• Document treatment plans and progress notes diligently, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in ongoing communication with patients to inspire and motivate them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with private medical insurance who are navigating orthopedic conditions. You will work with individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain, allowing you to employ a range of manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens tailored to each patient's needs. The diverse client population will challenge your expertise and enrich your experience as you work toward delivering effective, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in California is mandatory and must be in good standing.
• A clean professional record with no instances of disciplinary action from licensing boards.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, particularly within private practice.
• Proficient skills in manual therapy techniques and developing personalized exercise programs.
• Competence in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT for efficient documentation and tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
