Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a direct impact as a contract Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students in a thriving educational setting near Burleson, TX. This full-time opportunity begins August 3, 2026, and continues through June 4, 2027, providing valuable therapeutic services to a diverse range of students. Work onsite from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, serving a caseload of 45–60 students depending on service requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR) licensure by the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
• Prior experience in a school-based environment preferred
• Comfortable working with K-12 populations and adapting strategies to meet various learning and developmental needs
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring tailored to each student’s IEP or 504 plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams to support inclusive learning and optimize student participation
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all regulatory and school-based requirements
• Provide guidance and support to staff and families on best practices for student care and adaptation
