Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A fulfilling opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist eager to make a meaningful impact within a diverse K-12 school setting. This contract position runs from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, and offers stable, full-time hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You’ll be working on-site with a vibrant student population, supporting between 45 and 60 students, with caseload assignments shaped by individual service requirements.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active Texas Occupational Therapist (OTR) license issued by the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
• Previous experience serving K-12 students in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, students, and families
• Ability to tailor therapy plans to a diverse range of ages and abilities
• Organizational skills for documentation and caseload management

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services tailored to student IEPs
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized intervention plans to help students achieve educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and inclusion
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Provide resources and guidance to families and school staff as needed
