About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Financial Performance & Governance to play a pivotal role in the organization's financial strategy and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for senior financial governance, partnering closely with the Controller, and leading finance systems, automation, and transformation. This role is not just about reporting results but also about anticipating performance, explaining drivers, and ensuring that actions are taken. Key responsibilities include enterprise budgeting and forecasting, leading financial performance management across various business units, and serving as a primary finance partner to corporate and shared-service departments. The VP will also be involved in capital expenditures, purchasing, and grants, and will lead the financial planning and analysis for these areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with a focus on building a best-in-class, scalable finance organization. This includes leading a team that is accountable for both analytical quality and business outcomes, developing strong finance partners, and operating as part of a cohesive finance team. The role also involves M&A activities, due diligence, and integration, as well as a hands-on approach to financial governance and support during audits. The VP will be expected to lead the finance transformation, systems, and automation initiatives, and to ensure that the finance function is aligned with the company's growth and supported by modern technology and effective controls. A proactive, strategic, and collaborative approach is essential for this position.
