This full-time position offers a primarily remote work setting, allowing flexibility in managing your professional responsibilities while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our outpatient office hosts a dynamic team environment where regular communication and collaboration with colleagues are encouraged. Working hours are typically set from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening or weekend shifts on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, identifying the severity, frequency, and duration to form an accurate diagnosis.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring approaches as necessary to enhance effectiveness.

• Provide continuous education and emotional support to clients and their families about mood disorders and effective treatment and self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor clients’ progress, documenting changes in symptoms and adjusting treatment plans to improve efficacy and outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care, addressing all aspects of patients’ health.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying updated on the latest research related to mood disorders and therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and assessments in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings aimed at optimizing patient care practices and enhancing clinical skills.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working towards reducing the stigma often associated with mood disorders and promoting mental wellness in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you'll primarily support individuals experiencing mood disorders. Our diverse client population may include adults from various backgrounds and different stages of their mental health journey. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in clinical settings is preferred, with a specific focus on mood disorders.

• Proficient in evidence-based treatment methodologies, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology with the ability to consult effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• A demonstrated track record of successfully delivering positive clinical outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Outstanding communication skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.

While two years post-licensure experience is required, candidates with additional experience in a specialized therapeutic environment focused on mood disorders are highly desirable.
