Senior Revenue Accountant

SUMMARY

CTC Global is the world's leading developer and manufacturer of carbon fiber composite cores used in advanced overhead conductors for the global energy sector. We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting and finance team. You will support the daily accounting and month-end closing activities including the company's most critical accounting processes. This person should have a solid understanding of accounting in a manufacturing setting. Importantly, you will be involved in improving and simplifying our critical accounting tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and post journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and complete flux analysis for assigned accounts to ensure timely and accurate close.
• Review and approve sales invoices, validate GL coding, apply customer payments and down payments, and monitor aging to support cash-flow accuracy.
• Process and reconcile intercompany sales transactions and ensure proper elimination during consolidation.
• Analyze revenue based on shipping terms and contract structure to ensure compliance with ASC 606.
• Maintain schedules for service-contract deferrals, track related transactions, and recognize revenue in accordance with performance obligations.
• Assist with process improvements, system enhancements, and other tasks as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4+ years of public and/or private accounting experience, with emphasis in manufacturing and multinational accounting preferred.
• Experience with complex accounting and high-level analysis as well as the ability to understand the impact of operations on the company's financial statements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar).
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
