What you’ll own

• Safe, compliant, efficient operations across all shifts, lines, and production areas.
• Scheduling execution end-to-end: master schedules, line sequencing, capacity alignment, and short-interval adjustments to hit plan attainment.
• Real-time staffing and scheduling moves that account for downtime, labor availability, material constraints, and volume swings.
• Performance outcomes—attainment, throughput, efficiency, and labor alignment are your scorecard.
• Leadership of Production Managers with clear accountability for execution, frontline leadership, and results.
• Visible presence across shifts—setting expectations for safety, quality, accountability, and respectful leadership.

How you’ll drive consistency

• Build and continuously improve production standards, SOP discipline, and operating rhythms.
• Standardize daily work and best practices so every shift runs the same playbook.
• Own plant KPIs and dashboards—ensure accurate data, clear visibility, and timely communication.
• Partner with the Regional Manager, Production Operations to track trends, close gaps, and sustain improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis for misses, downtime, inefficiencies, and variability.
• Work with Planning to supply accurate line capability inputs (rates, speeds, efficiencies, constraints) for realistic, executable plans.

Where you’ll collaborate

• Changeovers—own safe, efficient execution against standards and schedules.
• CI/OpEx—pilot, standardize, and scale best practices with Production Managers.
• Continuous improvement—focus on throughput, labor efficiency, downtime reduction, and schedule adherence.
• Cross-shift/line alignment—ensure one message, one set of expectations, one standard of execution.

When the stakes are high

• Be the primary escalation for complex, cross-shift/line execution issues—resolve fast and align stakeholders.
• Act as the first escalation for significant employee relations, performance, or conduct issues beyond the Production Manager level; partner closely with People Operations.
• Apply company policies, performance standards, and disciplinary practices consistently.
