Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify specific mental health needs.

• Deliver thoughtfully tailored individual and family therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques focused on each patient’s treatment plan.

• Complete necessary administrative tasks, including billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms, while adhering to specified time frames.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to support patients in achieving and maintaining stability.

• Create and implement effective discharge plans to ensure a smooth transition for patients upon completion of their therapy.
\n
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations as well as NEHS policies to maintain compliance and uphold care standards.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development through training opportunities and educational resources to enhance your counseling skills.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to collaborate on patient care and share knowledge with peers.
\n
• Fulfill all licensure requirements and participate in mandatory training programs as specified by the organization.

The primary patient population for this role includes individuals and families seeking mental health support within a community health setting. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Massachusetts.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome candidates with varying levels of experience, preference will be given to those who have demonstrated proficiency in providing therapy in community health settings or a similar clinical environment. Experience with diverse patient populations and a strong understanding of trauma-informed care are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
