Payroll Specialist

Job Number: 32315 Salary: $30-$35/hr Industry: Automotive Location: Portland, OR (on-site) Contract Duration: Three months, with possibility of conversion to permanent full-time position Responsibilities Process semi‑monthly payroll for multiple employee groups using ADP Workforce Now. Respond to employee and manager payroll‑related questions. Audit and correct timecards, payroll data, and reports. Partner with HR on employee updates and records. Assist with journal entries and year‑end payroll activities. Support benefits reconciliation and employment verifications. Qualifications 3+ years of payroll experience. Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now. Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations; familiarity with Oregon/Idaho laws preferred. Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs & pivot tables). Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with care.
