Vice President of Sales

We are looking for a Vice President of Sales to lead and scale our Wholesale and Amazon sales channels. This role will oversee all major retail relationships, with a particular focus on Target and Walmart, while also driving growth and operational excellence across Amazon (1P and/or 3P). The ideal candidate brings deep experience in the apparel industry, understands the complexity of large national retailers, and has a strong track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams. This person will play a critical role in expanding distribution, strengthening retail partnerships, and driving sustainable revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Retail & Wholesale Leadership Own and lead the national wholesale sales strategy, with a focus on major retailers including Target, Walmart, and other national accounts Manage and grow key retailer relationships, acting as the primary executive contact for strategic partners Drive line reviews, assortment strategy, and sell-in across seasonal product launches Partner closely with merchandising, planning, and product teams to align retail assortments with consumer demand Amazon Channel Ownership Oversee the Amazon business across 1P and/or 3P models, including revenue growth, assortment expansion, and operational performance Partner with marketing and digital teams to optimize content, promotions, pricing, and advertising strategy Ensure strong inventory management, forecasting, and operational execution across the Amazon channel Build and execute annual and multi-year sales strategies across wholesale and marketplace channels Identify opportunities for distribution expansion, category growth, and new retail partnerships Lead revenue forecasting and demand planning in partnership with finance and operations teams Lead and develop a high-performing sales organization, including national account managers and Amazon specialists Establish clear performance metrics, sales targets, and accountability structures Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with product development, merchandising, marketing, and operations Bring deep expertise in big box retail dynamics, including merchandising strategy, pricing architecture, promotional cadence, and retail analytics Translate retailer insights into actionable strategies that drive sell-through and margin performance Qualifications 10–15+ years of sales leadership experience in the apparel or consumer goods industry Proven experience managing large national accounts, particularly Target and Walmart Significant experience with Amazon sales (Vendor Central and/or Seller Central) Demonstrated ability to scale wholesale businesses and grow large retail partnerships Strong understanding of retail planning, forecasting, and inventory management Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and strategic planning skills Based in or willing to work hybrid in Los Angeles What We’re Looking For A retail athlete who understands how big box retailers actually work Someone who can operate strategically with executives but also tactically with buyers A leader who knows how to build strong partnerships internally across product, planning, and marketing A builder who can scale revenue while protecting brand integrity #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential
