Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to understand clients' substance abuse history and any underlying mental health issues against the backdrops of their personal experiences.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that not only address addiction but also incorporate strategies for managing co-occurring mental health conditions, ensuring holistic care tailored to the client's needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing that encourage client engagement and motivation toward recovery.

• Collaborate effectively with team members including psychologists, social workers, and medical staff to foster integrated treatment approaches, sharing insights and updates to refine each client’s care strategy.

• Provide education and support to clients' families, ensuring they understand the recovery process and their role in encouraging positive changes.

You will be working with a diverse client base, including adults who are grappling with substance dependence and may present with co-occurring psychological issues such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. Qualifications\n

• A valid state-issued license as LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, LSCSW , or PsyD .

• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated experience or specialized training in addiction counseling, underscored by a thorough understanding of substance use disorders.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methods specific to substance abuse treatment and mental health integration.
