Accounts Payable Specialist

Our Placentia, CA branch is currently seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist. Responsibilities: Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and other supporting documentation Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in the accounting system Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues Preparing check runs, mailing checks, processing payment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper expense coding and approval processes Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday Responsibilities: Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and other supporting documentation Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in the accounting system Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues Preparing check runs, mailing checks, processing payment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper expense coding and approval processes Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal #J-18808-Ljbffr
