Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through individual sessions, interviews, and standardized assessment tools.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety and mood disorders, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. The ability to connect with individuals from different backgrounds and of varying ages is essential, as our client population encompasses a wide demographic spectrum. Your cultural competence and understanding of different narratives will play a crucial role in establishing trust and rapport with clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license to practice as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R within the state of New York.

• At least four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, including individual and group therapy.

• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and an ability to implement evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proven ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
