Administrative Assistant (12-Month)
Department: Teaching and Learning
Location: Clare-Gladwin RESD; 4041 E. Mannsiding Rd, Clare, MI
Reports To: Director of Teaching and Learning
Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Friday; 8 hours per day
Wages: According to MEA Contract; Starting pay: $14.63-$21.31 per hour - based on actual years of experience
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Job Objective: The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative, organizational, and operational support to the Teaching & Learning Department. This role supports program coordination, communication, financial tracking, data management, and customer service for internal and external stakeholders, including staff, students, families, and community partners.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
- Associate's degree in business administration, office management, or related field is preferred
- At least one (1) year of relevant administrative or office experience is required
- Proficiency in office software (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Michigan Driver's License
