Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your key duties will include:

• Collaborating with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to streamline mental health treatment protocols, both within our facility and in the community.

• Providing mental health in-service training for medical, psychiatric, and security personnel as requested.
\n
• Intervening and diffusing mental health crises in a timely manner, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
\n
• Attending commitment hearings as necessary to represent and advocate for patient needs.
\n
• Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the needs of individual clients.
\n
• Documenting all patient interactions accurately to maintain up-to-date health records.
\n
• Upholding strict confidentiality of all medical records and patient information.
\n
• Verifying the past mental health histories of patients, including any psychotropic medications they have previously used.
\n
• Preparing periodic reports on treatment progress and other relevant matters to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.

• Coordinating with nursing and mental health staff to facilitate post-release referrals and ensure continuity of care.

Your role at Healing Garden will involve working with a wide range of patients, from those undergoing detoxification processes to individuals needing ongoing support for chronic mental health conditions. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.

• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or community health setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following specialties are highly preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n
