Work Environment\n

This position allows for a flexible remote work setting, specifically designed for school-based mental health services. You will engage with students, families, and educational professionals to provide seamless support. The remote environment offers you the ability to design your work-from-home setting to ensure productivity and comfort while making a significant impact in students' lives. Your work hours will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as a critical liaison between families and outpatient providers to ensure comprehensive care and communication.

• Facilitate interactions with insurance companies for pre-certification and effective utilization management of mental health services.

• Participate in discharge planning and aftercare arrangements, ensuring continuity of care for clients.

• Deliver therapeutic meal support, promoting a healthy relationship with food through positive modeling.
\n
• Provide empathetic and affirming care tailored to each client's unique situation, taking into consideration their intersecting identities and backgrounds.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents enrolled in school, along with their families. You will address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges, providing tailored interventions and support that enhance their educational and personal development. Understanding the dynamics of school environments will be key in effectively reaching and assisting your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Tennessee is mandatory.

• Experience working with older adults and understanding their unique psychosocial needs will be an asset.

• Possession of strong clinical and diagnostic skills to effectively assess and treat clients

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with families, school staff, and healthcare providers.

Compensation and Benefits\n
