Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 20-bed critical access hospital, requiring 1+ years experience and BLS certification.

Job Details

• Outpatient setting with 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient caseload,
• Patient population includes general orthopedic, neurological, and gait conditions,
• 20-bed critical access hospital,
• Uses EPIC EMR,
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM,
• 40 hours per week with 12 hours of non-billable orientation,

Job Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy required for those licensed after 2016; bachelor's or master's degree accepted for those licensed prior to 2016,
• Active state Physical Therapy license required, or proof of application initiated with Authorization to Test Letter and testing scheduled within 60 days,
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire,
• Minimum 1 year of experience required,
• License required if applicable,
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills required,
• Proficiency with Microsoft software and computer systems required,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients to restore physical function,
• May assist physical therapy technicians and assistants in resolving patient care issues,
• Must be able to document patient status and communicate effectively with treatment team members,
• Negative drug screen required for all panels as part of OSF's Drug-Free Campus policy,
• COVID vaccination not required,
• Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible for a reduced local rate; no radius restriction applies to eligibility,
