School Speech and Language Pathologist | Fort Myers, Florida

Step into a fulfilling role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist at multiple engaging school locations in the Fort Myers area. The position begins August 11, 2026, and continues through May 27, 2027, offering the opportunity to work full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week), with some part-time flexibility for the right candidates. This on-site, contract position allows you to make a lasting difference in students' lives while collaborating with dedicated educational teams across several elementary, middle, and high school campuses.


You will work with diverse age groups, tailored to the needs of each assigned school, supporting students in their speech and language development to help them achieve academic and personal success.


Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Florida DOH SLP license and/or valid Florida teacher certification
• Experience in school-based settings is preferred
• Ability to adapt to various caseloads and school environments
• Willingness and ability to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing processes (including navigating AHCA Clearinghouse as needed)
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students based on IEP goals
• Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster positive student outcomes
• Maintain detailed records and progress notes according to school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
