Occupational Therapist School Setting - Spotsylvania, VA

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver both direct and indirect occupational therapy services according to students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct thorough evaluations and ongoing assessments to identify and address student needs
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans focused on fine motor skills, sensory integration, and functional independence
• Work collaboratively with teachers, special education teams, and families to ensure coordinated support
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with state and district guidelines
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to develop achievable student goals

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Virginia OT license (or the ability to obtain one)
• Previous experience in a school-based environment is advantageous, though not required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Caseload & Schedule:

• Students in grades K-12
• 37.5 hours per week
• Follows the academic calendar, including observed school breaks and holidays
