Job Description The Talent Acquisition Specialist (Contract) will join the recruitment team to drive the vision and execution around all aspects of the talent acquisition function. This individual will provide content expertise for all company‑wide staffing efforts—including processes, systems, and tools—and will manage specific staffing throughout North America, leading senior and strategic searches. They will develop strategies that differentiate our organization, focusing on new technologies such as social recruiting, sourcing platforms, and candidate engagement. Key Objectives Source, attract, select, and hire top talent in the market. Ensure staffing needs are met with a long‑term strategy. Devise and implement sourcing strategies. Position Accountabilities Sourcing: Direct responsibility for recruiting activities for specific roles at DAC, driving recruitment activities and ensuring strong performance on time‑to‑fill, cost per hire, and candidate quality. Build talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles and collaborate with the Director P&C and Manager, Talent Acquisition on recruitment strategy, job posting optimization, and talent planning. Candidate Experience / Employer Branding: Work with the Director P&C and Manager, Talent Acquisition to assess staffing needs against business strategy, develop talent acquisition plans, and leverage recruiting tools to improve quality of hires and candidate experience. Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract talent from non‑traditional and diverse pools, and support the company’s employment branding strategy. Analysis and Reporting: Define, track, and report key hiring metrics; compile, analyze, and utilize recruiting data; identify improvement opportunities in collaboration with the Director P&C. Vendor Management: Manage all external staffing vendors and processes for resume and applicant submission. Participate in team projects, provide hiring manager training on interviewing and recruitment practices, support DAC’s core values, and perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Requirements Minimum of 2 years of full‑cycle recruitment experience. In‑depth experience sourcing active and passive candidates using social media, search engines, and job boards. Knowledge of relevant employment laws in DAC operating jurisdictions. Excellent communication skills and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Strong relationship‑building skills at all levels, business acumen, project management, and influence at senior‑level executive level. Ability to learn, administer, and train others on Applicant Tracking System technology. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Innovative, organized, and results‑oriented mindset. How We Work This role requires three in‑office days per week. Remote work is not available for this position. Compensation The projected total compensation range for this position is starting at $70,000 to $90,000.
