Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, leveraging telehealth technologies to connect with clients and conduct assessments and therapy sessions. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while adhering to our standard work hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the emotional and psychological needs of elderly clients, ensuring personalized care approaches.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to address various emotional challenges, including grief, anxiety, and adjustment disorders related to aging.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and execute individualized care plans, tracking progress and adapting treatment as necessary.

• Offer specialized grief and loss counseling services to residents and their families as they navigate end-of-life issues.

Your primary focus will be on the geriatric community, supporting clients facing challenges associated with aging, such as coping with loss, navigating life transitions, and managing age-related mental health issues. You will engage with a diverse population, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds, requiring sensitivity and adaptability to meet their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

• At least 4 years of recent experience providing counseling services, specifically tailored to geriatric clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
