Healthcare Benefits Domain Analyst
Pay Range: $45hr - $50hr
Responsible for bridging business needs and technology solutions within the healthcare benefits domain. The role combines healthcare subject matter expertise with strong analytical, API, and stakeholder management capabilities to support system analysis, business process optimization, API portfolio rationalization, and AI-driven solution initiatives.
Requirement/Must Have:
- Strong healthcare benefits domain expertise.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience translating business requirements into system and API specifications.
- Experience working with APIs, data analysis, and lifecycle management.
- Ability to collaborate with SMEs, architects, and engineering teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience supporting AI-driven or analytics-based solutions.
- Ability to manage end-to-end requirements lifecycle activities.
Experience:
- Experience in healthcare systems and benefits analysis.
- Experience with API portfolio analysis and lifecycle management.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and system requirements.
- Experience supporting technical and business teams in enterprise environments.
- Experience working with analytics, AI, or data-driven initiatives preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Translate complex business requirements such as healthcare benefit plans into clear system and API specifications.
- Analyze and rationalize API portfolios including inventory, usage, data volume, and lifecycle decisions.
- Partner with SMEs, architects, and engineering teams to validate solutions and drive alignment.
- Leverage data insights to support decision-making and optimization opportunities.
- Support AI-driven and analytics-based initiatives using healthcare domain expertise.
- Drive end-to-end requirements lifecycle including client, documentation, validation, and release planning.
- Identify opportunities for simplification, operational improvements, and measurable business outcomes.
Should Have:
- Experience with healthcare benefits systems and integrations.
- Experience with API governance and lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with AI and analytics-driven business solutions.
- Experience driving process optimization and transformation initiatives.
