Accounts Payable Coordinator Fairfield, NJ Woodmont Properties Full-Time | Exempt Hybrid Schedule Available After 90 Days (3 Days In Office / 2 Days Remote)Join Our TeamWoodmont Properties is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Accounting team. This role is responsible for processing a high volume of invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payments, supporting month-end close activities, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with numbers, and take pride in accuracy and customer service, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoProcess high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and timely.Review invoices for proper coding and compliance with company policies.Enter invoices into accounting systems including Intacct, Timberline, and Yardi.Monitor open payables and assist with invoice aging and payment processing.Follow up with approvers to ensure timely invoice approvals.Process utility invoices and recurring vendor payments.Coordinate weekly purchase order reviews and resolve discrepancies.Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries.Process demand checks and urgent payment requests.Assist with month-end close activities.Perform bank reconciliations and accounting support tasks.Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and reporting.Assist with annual 1099 preparation.Participate in process improvements and special projects.QualificationsRequired3 to 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.PreferredExperience with Intacct, Timberline, and/or Yardi.Real estate industry accounting experience.Knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting best practices.What We Offer Competitive salary Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Professional development opportunities Employee Assistance Program (if applicable) Hybrid work schedule after successful completion of 90-day introductory period (3 days in office / 2 days remote)Work EnvironmentCollaborative team-oriented environment.Fast-paced accounting operation supporting multiple entities and properties.Standard work week: 40 hours, Monday through Friday.Apply TodayJoin Woodmont Properties and become part of a team committed to operational excellence, accountability, and outstanding service.
