Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments, evaluations, and diagnosis of clients to inform personalized therapy strategies.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychoeducation, and solution-focused brief therapy, to deliver impactful sessions.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and best practices are upheld.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care, participating in regular meetings to discuss treatment goals and progress.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training, and webinars to stay updated on the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on youth and families who face a range of behavioral and emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. This role demands a high level of empathy and understanding, as you will help clients navigate their mental health journeys, fostering resilience and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• At least two years of clinical experience in counseling is mandatory, demonstrating an extensive understanding of therapeutic practices.

• Strong grasp of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health counseling.
