Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide compassionate care and direct support to clients, focusing on overcoming behavioral health challenges.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients and create personalized treatment plans addressing their unique developmental and emotional needs.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy practices tailored for children and families.

• Address crisis situations with sensitivity and promptness, utilizing crisis management strategies to ensure client safety and support.

• Engage in careful collaboration with a multidisciplinary team that includes pediatricians, educational staff, and family members to optimize client care and behavioral health outcomes.

• Maintain accurate, comprehensive records of client interactions, treatment developments, and progress to support effective decision-making and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and families facing a wide range of behavioral health issues, including but not limited to developmental disabilities, anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will work closely with clients to develop therapeutic relationships that promote healing and positive change, empowering individuals to navigate their challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field is required.

• A current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• At least two years of demonstrated experience in providing services to children, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities.

• Strong understanding and practical application of crisis management techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience within a school setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 120,000 to USD 130,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
