Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate Group Therapy: Lead engaging and supportive group sessions designed to foster peer connections, allowing clients to share experiences and learn from one another effectively.

• Provide Individual Therapy: Offer personalized and empathetic counseling sessions that help clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and actions, while assisting them in developing actionable coping strategies.

• Create Treatment Plans: Collaboratively develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment strategies that cater to each client’s unique needs and preferences.

• Monitor Progress: Employ various assessment tools to track and evaluate client progress, ensuring effective treatment outcomes and adaptations as necessary.

• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with an interdisciplinary team, engaging in regular communication and consultation regarding complex client cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on young adult clients facing various mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, and transitional issues. By fostering a supportive therapeutic alliance, you will help clients develop resilience and learn skills to manage their mental well-being effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline, such as counselling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Active Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) credentials.

• Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment within residential or outpatient settings.

• Team player with a collaborative attitude, dedicated to fostering positive change in clients.

• Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
