Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their needs and formulate effective treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies, addressing concerns through tailored interventions.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and psychodynamic therapy to individuals, couples, and groups.

• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care that addresses the holistic needs of each client.

• Maintain accurate, thorough clinical records in accordance with legal ethical standards and organizational policies.

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities including workshops, training sessions, and skill-building exercises to remain current in mental health research and practices.

The LPC role at Alvita Counseling Center will serve a diverse clientele, which includes children, adolescents, adults, and families grappling with a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut is essential.

• A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, preferably within a clinical or outpatient setting.

• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards that govern counseling practices.

• Annual salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload capacity.
