Work Environment\n

In this role, you will work from the comfort of your home or remote workspace while engaging with clients either virtually or at our outpatient office in Rockford. Our operational hours extend from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, providing flexibility to meet the varied schedules of our clients. While the role is primarily remote, our outpatient office remains an essential resource for clients who prefer face-to-face therapy. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments, formulating individualized treatment plans that cater to each client's unique needs and circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, adapting the approach based on the client’s progress and feedback.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing a wide array of concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relational issues.
\n
• Document clinical notes and maintain accurate records in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including fellow therapists and other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic client care and support.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, training sessions, and peer supervision, enhancing your therapeutic skills and staying abreast of the latest research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families. Our clients present a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders. The ability to adapt your therapeutic approach based on the client demographic, cultural background, and personal experiences is crucial to delivering effective treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience in a clinical context is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical guidelines pertaining to mental health practices, and a commitment to professional integrity and client confidentiality.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build rapport with a diverse client population.

• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related technologies for effective documentation and communication.

• Specialization or significant experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma counseling, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.
