Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and various analyses in alignment with established standards.
• Examine findings for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and adequately prepare samples for testing as required.
• Comprehensively document all procedures, train new staff or students, and uphold the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and secure work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
