Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Summerfield, you will engage in a diverse range of therapeutic activities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs and developing tailored, person-centered treatment plans to support their unique recovery journeys.

• Regularly monitoring clients' progress and adapting treatment strategies in response to changing needs and circumstances.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that focus on skill building, including coping mechanisms, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication techniques.

• Educating clients about available community resources and acting as a dedicated advocate to ensure they receive appropriate support and services beyond therapy sessions.

• Implementing strategies to assist clients in the development of daily and community living skills, enhancing their independence and quality of life.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients at Summerfield Mental and Wellness Center are predominantly adults who may be experiencing various mental health conditions that interfere with their community involvement and overall quality of life. As a therapist, you will work with individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and trauma-related issues. Qualifications\n

To be a strong candidate for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A valid state license is required: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).

• Ability to practice independently without supervision and maintain an impeccable record with no disciplinary actions on your license.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems, allow for efficient documentation and client management.
