Sous Chef

Woodfield Boca Ratonis seeking an experienced Sous Chef forour state-of-the-art dining outlets. Our resort offers five dining venues, each with a varied and unique dining experience to suit our members ranging from casual poolside bites to elaborate buffets and elegant dinners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepares or directly supervises the daily preparation of all food items. Responsible for the food production in all outlets of the club. Consistently maintains standards of quality, cost, eye appeal and flavor of foods. Creates menu specification with the Executive Chef. Tastes all food items prepared prior to serving. Creates “Specials”. Creates new items for buffet and a la carte. Plans weekly production lists. Ensures all employees are following their schedules. Communicates with the Chef on any club member feedback. Ensures that all cooks are trained and understand our standards when working any type of station. Ensures all food products received are of the highest quality . Ensures that all employees follow checklists for their areas. Ensures that all employees are following the highest sanitation standards.
