Payroll Specialist

Summary The Payroll Specialist supports accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations across the organization. The role maintains payroll data integrity, responds to employee inquiries, and completes payroll activities in line with internal controls and deadlines. Responsibilities Review Workday integration data and research and correct discrepancies. Respond to payroll inquiries and gather data for payroll preparation. Run timekeeping and payroll integrations and review employee, job, compensation, and address changes. Review pre-check reports, set up garnishments, and complete post-payroll tasks. Prepare standard operating procedures and support ad hoc projects. Requirements Experience with Ulti-Pro, Kronos, and Workday. Basic understanding of payroll processing and state and federal payroll and tax regulations. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, analytical ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Associate degree in accounting or a related finance field. Ability to work in person at the Piscataway office at least three days per week. #J-18808-Ljbffr Brobston Group
