This is a flexible part time or full time position

The Property Manager will oversee a portfolio of 100 residential homes, ensuring smooth operations across tenant relations, maintenance, and financial management. This role requires a thorough understanding of Philadelphia Tenant/Landlord laws and the ability to balance compliance with excellent customer service to residents. The ideal candidate will coordinate property maintenance, handle tenant screening, and manage lease agreements to maintain high occupancy and satisfaction levels.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage tenant relations to address concerns and maintain positive communication
• Oversee lease management and ensure compliance with Philadelphia Tenant/Landlord laws
• Collect rent and manage financial reporting for the property portfolio
• Coordinate maintenance requests and schedule property inspections
• Monitor regulatory compliance and resolve conflicts effectively
• Market residential properties to attract and retain tenants
• Screen prospective tenants to ensure suitability
• Implement budget management strategies for operational efficiency

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in property management
• Strong negotiation and budgeting skills
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities
• Experience in maintenance planning and regulatory compliance
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to conduct research, follow through on tasks, and manage collections
• Assertive with strong writing skills
